BioMy friends call me Lola. But no, I'm not a showgirl.
What I am is a mom of a pre-teen boy, Matthew. We live now in New Jersey but after losing my job and the unstable housing market making Mortgage jobs unavailable in my area we are looking to relocate.
My favorite season is winter. I love snow. Love to shovel during a snow storm, all bundled up, with cups of hot chocolate and potato soup waiting for me by a nice fire. Our new place will have to be in an area that snows, leaving the southern states out of contention.
I also like living just outside city living, so near a popular city would be ideal. I love going to the theatre and to comedy clubs. Aquariums and parks/zoos would be a perfect day out with my son.
I'll probably lean towards purchasing a fixer-upper. While out of work I've become an avid watcher of HGTV. I've learned a lot and am excited about doing some work myself on a place of my own.
